Delete your account

1. Open ShopMyRoom and sign in.
2. Go to Profile, then Settings.
3. Under Data & Privacy, choose Delete account and confirm.

This permanently deletes your account, your sign-in and your records, and then your photo and preview files from our storage. If anything about this doesn't work for you, use the email option below and we'll delete it for you instead.

If you pay for Pro or Premium, deleting your account does not cancel your App Store subscription. Cancel it first: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap ShopMyRoom, then tap Cancel Subscription.

Email support@shopmyroom.co.uk from your account's email address, with the subject "Delete my account". You don't need to reinstall the app. We'll remove your account and confirm once it's done. There's no charge to delete your account.

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Your rooms, room photos, floor plans and measurements
• Your chats and the AI previews made for you
• Any saved items
• Your Community posts and their photos, including posts you deleted earlier
• Your Community likes, the users you blocked, your acceptance of the Community rules and reports other people made about your posts
• Your plan, purchase records and Room Pack previews, including any you have not used
• Your AI sharing choices, reports, usage events and crash events

We keep the deleted account's sign-in ID (a random code issued by Firebase, with no name or email attached), so the account cannot be recreated by mistake. We make a backup of our database and stored photos every night and keep each backup for up to 32 days, so deleted data can stay in a backup for that long. Staff action logs that refer to your internal ID also stay. If clearing your photo and preview files fails, they can remain until we remove them, so email us if you want us to check. Preview images created before 8 September 2026 were stored without your account name, so we cannot match them to you. They are not deleted when you delete your account and stay until we clear them. Data already sent to Alibaba Cloud for the AI features is held under Alibaba Cloud's own terms and is not deleted from there. If you bought a Room Pack, we keep its Apple transaction ID, product and date, with nothing that links it to you, so the same Room Pack cannot be used twice. Records we are required to keep by law, where any apply, are kept only as long as the law requires.

If you signed in with Apple, you can also remove ShopMyRoom from Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings.
